Cava del Tom: Gardens and terraces

To complete the architecture of this amazing villa with private pool, we find two large terraces, built starting from the 60s, when for the extension of the house many mines were used to scratch the gigantic granite ridge, obtaining some precious raw material with which adorning the walls. The expert hands of the stonemasons Edmondo and Piero Deiana have chiselled the granite that adorns the main facade of the Villa, and many priceless furnishings.

The large terrace facing the sea has a splendid example, a solid granite table that can accommodate up to eight people, protected by a large parasol and a little further down, descending a few steps, by a centuries-old olive tree that gives shade and creates the perfect corner for relaxation, with Philippe Starck’s design armchairs and chairs.

The patio terrace is the perfect retreat in the days of strong mistral, when the wind blows hard on the island, but in this sheltered corner you can have lunch and dinner without a break, on the long table that hosts up to fourteen people, enjoying the wonderful view on Porto Rotondo through the two opposing windows that create a binocular effect.

Villa Cava del Tom has also a beautiful garden, extended over one hectare, a usable and enjoyable space, full of ancient trees and small romantic and enchanting views.
